Rotating cover with secondary air inlets
The new rotating cover with secondary air inlets from Dürr Dental now provides a very effective means of preventing cross infection. This is a thumb-sized cylindrical connecting piece that is inserted between the suction cannula and the suction handpiece.
- Virtually no loss of suction performance (approx. 8%)
- Very little noise
- No inadvertent covering of all air intakes
- Available as a rotating cover (grey/black) for Dürr handpieces and as a universal sleeve for handpieces from other manufacturers
To combat reflux
A defined annular bypass (auxiliary) airflow is drawn over four lateral grooves into the suction handpiece. Even when firm adhesions block the cannula, this device maintains an adequate airflow from the patient to the suction system (and not the other way round!).
