Interview with Justin Richter

Which work-study programme are you doing at DÜRR DENTAL?
I am completing a work-study programme in Business Administration - Digital Business Management.

Why did you decide to do a work-study programme at DÜRR DENTAL?
I decided to do a work-study programme at DÜRR DENTAL because the company has a very good reputation in the dental industry, and the combination of theory and practice gives me the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at an early stage to optimally prepare myself for my future career.

What do you like best about your work-study programme so far?
What I like best about my work-study programme is the direct application of what I have learned in a real working environment. By working closely with experienced colleagues, I can put my theoretical knowledge directly into practice and receive valuable feedback to help me continually improve.

What areas have you worked in so far, and can you give some examples of the tasks you’ve done here?
I’ve worked in the areas of “International Sales” and “International Marketing” and was involved in the planning of the IDS (trade fair) and an incentive tour. I was also able to accompany many customer visits and carry out a comprehensive market analysis for the International Sales team.

What was the most fun that you had during your work-study programme with us?
The most fun day by far was when all the trainees and students spent a day together at Tripsdrill Adventure Park.

During my work-study programme, I realised how important clear communication and convincing presentation skills are for exchanging ideas and influencing decisions.
