However, previously the tandem principle would only work if the dental practice kept everything within the same system. The new additional function Tyscor Tandem Flex is a pragmatic response to the fact that some dental surgeries have evolved with mismatched equipment from a number of different manufacturers. From now on, a Tyscor unit can also be set up using the tandem method with a classic V or VS side channel suction system from Dürr Dental or even with a third-party device. This is why the word “Flex” has been added to the name of this function – customers benefit from a previously unheard of level of flexibility when it comes to dental practice upgrades or expansions.

The advantages are clear: dental teams can continue using existing devices that are still working, without having to replace them unnecessarily. There is also no need to install an additional suction pipe to the machine room, which also costs additional money and means additional installation work. Much better to intelligently expand the existing suction system – and to help protect the environment, boost operational reliability and improve the balance sheet of the practice.
