More than 20 international guests and experts from the dental industry received insights into the dental technology of the future at Dürr Dental. We were proud to present absolute experts in the field of digital dental technology as guest speakers, with Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Richter who held a lecture on "Digital Transformation in Dentistry", as well as Mr. Jörg Preuß and Mr. Georgiev from KPMG who spoke about the "Rising Disruption in the German Dental Care Market".
Together with Christian Schorndorfer, head of sales and marketing, CEO Martin Dürrstein opened the symposium in the in-house academy at the headquarters in Bietigheim-Bissingen. After that, key speaker Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Richter shared his expertise about the digital transformation in dentistry. Several other informative presentations on the intelligent digital connection of dental equipment were then followed by by an extensive tour around the company headquarters by Dr. Martin Koch.
The first day was completed by a collective walk to the Schlossberghütte in the Black Forest followed by a traditional dinner under the motto "O'zapft is".
On the second morning, Dürr Optronik in Gechingen was presented by Managing Director Peter Dürrstein. Subsequently, the key speakers Mr. Jörg Preuß and Mr. Georgiev from the professional services and accounting company KPMG, explained the “Rising Disruption in the German Dental Care Market”. Afterwards, further lectures and an impressive factory tour were followed by a regional gin tasting.
This concluded three eventful days for our guests and us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all guests and colleagues for this outstanding event.
