ID 213 Instrument disinfection
Great value for money and highly effective
ID 213 is a highly effective aldehyde-free concentrate for cleaning and disinfection of general and surgical instruments (mirrors, probes, tweezers, forceps, etc.) in dental practices, laboratories and clinics in the dental sector. Another area in which this product can be used is the disinfection and cleaning of rotating instruments that are sensitive to alkaline and alcohol-based cleaners, for example ones made of light alloys or non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass, etc.), or certain artificial resin-bonded instruments. ID 213 is gentle on materials and offers a particularly broad spectrum of activity.

ID 213 Instrument disinfection
Concentrate for cleaning and disinfecting general, surgical and rotating instruments with a broad range of effectiveness
- Bactericidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal in an ultrasonic device, yeasticidal, limited virucidal (enveloped viruses incl. HBV, HCV, HIV and coronaviruses, as well as noroviruses and SV40 polyomaviruses)
- Very economical thanks to a long working time of 14 days
- Excellent material compatibility thanks to corrosion inhibitors
Active ingredients: alkylamines, quaternary ammonium compounds
Available as: 2.5 l
Our recommendation: Hygobox
This product satisfies the VAH requirements with a low application concentration of just 2% for bactericidal/yeasticidal disinfection (5 minutes) and tuberculocidal disinfection (60 minutes), making ID 213 incredibly cost-effective. In addition, depending on the level of contamination/soiling the disinfectant solution can be used for up to 14 days. It is important to note that the cleaning and disinfection steps must be carried out separately. While the disinfection solution can be used for up to 14 days, the cleaning solution must be changed at least on a daily basis, or immediately if it is visibly contaminated.
Once the ID 213 has been applied, the instruments must be thoroughly rinsed off under running water for 15 seconds (drinking water quality or better, preferably using demineralised water) and dried.
