CS 1 and CAS 1: the integrated solution

CS 1 Combi-Sepamatic and CAS 1 Combi-Separator from Dürr Dental are a valuable addition to any treatment unit. The units impress with their quiet yet powerful drives and can effortlessly manage even treatments that last several hours and involve large amounts of fluids. The two-stage separation effectively prevents blood foam from being carried along during aspiration, thus protecting the dry suction unit that is connected downstream. CS 1 Combi-Sepamatic is purely an automatic separator. CAS 1 Combi-Separator combines air/water separation and amalgam separation. Both units can either be integrated in the treatment unit or installed externally.

The two-stage system with cyclone separator and dynamic separation turbine is noticeably more powerful than traditional, single-stage methods and can hardly be heard during operation. This allows the dentist to focus his or her concentration on the treatment of the patient. The amalgam centrifuge of the CAS 1 is self-cleaning and achieves a certified separation rate of around 98%. As an option, an additional rinsing unit can be connected to both units. In this way, the entire suction system is even more hygienic in operation, as the constant water film prevents particles from being deposited and blood from coagulating. Both the CS 1 Combi-Sepamatic and the CAS 1 Combi-Separator fit in many treatment units and are already installed in the factory by leading manufacturers.
